Why is a service charge added to my bill?
You will see a 22% service charge as a line item on your bill which is distributed to all non-management employees in the form of wages & benefits. We believe this model creates better equity & stability for all employees across the kitchen & dining room.
Any additional gratuity paid on the evening of your meal is at the discretion of each guest & is not required.
Why is there a time limit?
Bookings are scheduled as a 2-hour experience in order to be able to honor the next guests' reservations.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations or modifications are allowed up to 24 hours prior to your booking.
Cancellations within 24 hours of the booking will forfeit their deposit.
Is it possible to refund my reservation if I cancel in advance or switch to another night?
Yes! We can make any changes up to 24 hours in advance.
The per-person deposits ($25/dinner & $10/brunch) for all reservations are fully refundable up to 24 hours prior to your reservation time.
You can make any modifications, changes or cancellations through your confirmation email from Tock up to 24 hours in advance.
Do you allow walk-ins?
Absolutely! The more, the merrier. That being said, we are a cozy spot that tends to book up in advance. Our current availability is always accessible via www.exploretock.com/lutece
Can dietary requirements be accomodated?
Please note any allergies on your reservation. We can accommodate many allergies & other dietary restrictions but cannot guarantee this with less than 24 hour's notice.
Is there a dress code required for Lutéce?
Come as you are!
We are a neighborhood neo-bistro that can be the backdrop for a casual night on our patio, a gathering of friends exploring our menu & wine offerings, or a luxurious meal before a show at the Kennedy Center while dressed in your finest.
Do you have a corkage fee?
Yes - $35/bottle or $70/magnum for bottles that we do not feature on our wine list. Limit 2 bottles or 1 magnum.

I wasn’t able to secure a booking for my preferred date, how can I join your waitlist?
To join our waitlist, click on reservations and then choose the time of your preference. After that, click on join the waitlist and it will prompt you what day and time, number of guests and experience. You can also add a note with any additional information or requests. If a spot becomes available, we will send an email letting you know!
Do you offer valet parking?
We do not have valet parking, and recommend that guests parallel park on one of the neighboring side streets. Additionally, there are paid spaces available via SpotHero behind our restaurant.
How far in advance can I book?
Our reservations are released on a rolling 30-day schedule each morning at 11am.
Are kids & babies welcome?
Absolutely - please include them in the total number of guests on your reservation so we can plan for our cozy space. We do not have space for strollers in the dining room, but can store them for you while you enjoy your meal. Please note if you will need a highchair as we only have a couple in our limited space.
What is your maximum party size?
Due to our cozy space at Lutèce, we are able to host groups of up to 6 guests. Parties above this size are invited to reserve the restaurant as a private event. If this is of interest, we can get you all the details of how to create a special experience at Lutèce that is curated to your party.
